Pavia's Pride - Mayor Arcadio H. Gorriceta brought immediate changes to the Municipality of Pavia since the high noon of the 30th of June 2004 when he took oath as newly-elected mayor of the town.
Drastic changes were seen in the town's structure physically through the construction and improvement of the town hall, health centers, multi-purpose halls, classrooms and new government vehicles.
Moreover, Pavianhons receive countless of aid from the municipality through the "Bulig sa Pagtuon" program where all Pavianhons can now study in elementary and secondary free of charge.
The "Womb to Tomb" Program has been a great help to Pavianhons through the free pre-natal check-ups of the pregnants and free burial service at the time each Pavianhon dies.
Under his administration, Pavia was known as the Center of Development more than its recognition as the Regional Agro-Inductrial Center of Western Visayas which was dubbed in the early 1990s through the effort of his brother, Former Mayor Felix H. Gorriceta Jr.
